Domhnall Canney – Principal / Partner

Domhnall graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a Bachelor of linkediniconArts Degree in 2003 and completed a Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2004. He attended the Law Society of Ireland in 2007 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 having served his apprenticeship with the firm. He mainly practises in the areas of Conveyancing, Probate and Personal Injuries Litigation.

Domhnall is a past member of Tuam Swimming, Rugby and Soccer Clubs and currently a member of Tuam Golf Club.


Anthony Canney – Consultant/Partner

Anthony Canney is the Principal of T.A. O’Donoghue & Son and has worked at the practice for over 35 years. He is a native of Tuam and a graduate of University College, Galway. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1977 having previously worked in Dublin and Wexford. He joined the practise in the late 1970’s.

Anthony deals in all aspects of Litigation, particularly in Personal Injuries Litigation as well as Conveyancing, Landlord and Tenant, Probate, Succession Law and Family Law.

His has a keen interest in sports including golf, rugby, soccer and particularly in Gaelic Football having represented Tuam Stars, University College Galway and Galway County during his playing career.


linkediniconAntonia Canney – Partner

Antonia graduated from National University of Ireland, Galway in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and subsequently completed a Diploma in Legal Studies in D.I.T. in Aungier Street, Dublin. She attended the Law Society of Ireland and, having served part of her apprenticeship with a Dublin firm qualified, as a solicitor in 2003.

Antonia joined the firm in 2002 and practises mainly in the areas of Conveyancing, Family Law, Criminal Law and Litigation.


linkediniconPaul Canavan – Solicitor

Paul was educated in Blackrock College, Dublin and graduated from National University of Ireland, Galway in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and went on to complete a Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2007. He attended the Law Society in 2010 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2013 having served his apprenticeship with this firm. He practises in the areas of Conveyancing and Probate.

His interests include golf, soccer and rugby and he is a current playing member with Tuam Rugby Club, serving as club captain in 2013/2014.
